President & Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Manisha Yadav, RECE, OCT, BA (Hons), is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Toronto Academy of Education. A passionate women entrepreneur and accomplished education professional, she brings a strong foundation in early childhood education, child development, leadership, and team management.

With valuable experience across respected organizations including the Peel District School Board and the YMCA of Greater Toronto, Manisha has built her career around supporting learners, educators, and communities. Her leadership reflects a deep commitment to quality education, student success, professional development, and creating meaningful pathways for individuals pursuing careers in education and care.

As CEO, Manisha continues to lead Toronto Academy of Education with vision, integrity, and purpose, helping shape a learning environment where students are encouraged, supported, and prepared for future success.

Naila Saeed ( Founder and CEO, EYES Child Care)

Naila Saeed is the Founder and CEO of EYES Child Care and a respected leader in early childhood education, childcare operations, and community development. With more than 25 years of experience in Canada’s early learning sector, she has built and led multiple childcare and Montessori centres across the Greater Toronto Area.

An immigrant entrepreneur from India, Naila began her journey in Canada in 1998 with determination, resilience, and a passion for education. From her early work in tutoring and home daycare, she grew her vision into a successful childcare network serving children from infancy to school age. Her work focuses on creating safe, nurturing, inclusive, and development-focused learning environments where children can grow academically, socially, emotionally, and intellectually.

Naila currently serves as CEO of EYES Child Care and holds leadership roles with several organizations, including Vice President of the Canadian Council of Indian Muslims, Secretary of the North America AMU Alumni Association, and member of the Indo-Canadian Chamber of Commerce. She has also been involved with community and nonprofit initiatives supporting women, minorities, newcomers, and families.

Her accomplishments include recognition from business, community, and government organizations, including the Canadian Choice Award, Corporate Vision Canadian Business Awards, Canadian National Business Awards, and recognition for her community work by the Ontario Government and Government of Canada.

As an Advisory Board Member of Toronto Academy of Education, Naila brings strong expertise in early childhood education, childcare leadership, entrepreneurship, community engagement, and values-based education. Her experience supports Toronto Academy’s commitment to practical training, student success, and meaningful pathways into the education and care sectors.

Prof. Satyendra Narayan

Dr. Satyendra Narayan is a professor of applied computing in the Faculty of Applied Science and Technology at Sheridan Institute of Technology in Ontario, Canada.  He holds a PhD from the University of Waterloo and a master’s degree from the University of California with specializations in computing and physical sciences. Satyendra has 25+ years of teaching and research experience in the field of applied computing, geosciences and geo-engineering, and has published several papers, articles, and reports. Before joining Sheridan, Satyendra worked in the scientific computing industry and was involved in collaborative research in the area of environmental geophysics with the Lamont Earth Observatory, University of Columbia. He has also contributed significantly to, and established strong research partnerships with, the Indian Institute of Sciences, Bangalore, India; Regional Research Laboratory (RRL), Bhopal, India; Institute Teknologi Bandung, Bandung, Indonesia; Ministry of Research and Technology, Indonesia; PT Ephindo, Jakarta, Indonesia; and the University of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. 

Satyendra is a recipient of Sheridan’s best teaching excellence award of merit and the Leadership in Faculty Teaching Award in recognition of his exemplary efforts to influence, motivate and inspire students. Satyendra has been an active member of various committees at Sheridan (e.g., Student Advisement and Success Advisory Committees, Sheridan Creative Industries Committee, etc.) and has been a coordinator and adviser for several programs.

Vikas Yadava , P.Eng. PMP .MBA

Vikas Yadava is a highly accomplished industry professional with more than 35 years of diversified experience across the power generation, manufacturing, and renewable energy sectors. He is a Registered Professional Engineer in Ontario and holds a TSSA First Class Power Engineer licence, reflecting his advanced technical expertise and strong professional standing in the engineering field.

Vikas is also an MBA graduate from Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo and holds several additional professional designations and industry accreditations. Throughout his career, he has contributed to complex industrial operations, technical leadership, regulatory compliance, energy systems, and organizational development.

In addition to his professional achievements, Vikas has actively volunteered on advisory committees for various educational institutions, supporting program development and industry alignment. His extensive technical knowledge, leadership experience, and commitment to education bring valuable insight to Toronto Academy of Education, helping strengthen the institution’s connection between academic training and real-world industry expectations.
