Academic & Experience Requirements:
- Must have Early Childhood Educator (ECE) Diploma or Degree, and registered in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE)
- Min 2 years experience in Early Childcare and Knowledge of best practices in the Early Learning development field
- Flexible and hybrid working schedule
- Committed to the principles of diversity and inclusion
- Police Vulnerable Sector Check, Valid Standard First Aid and CPR, level C and Medical Immunization records
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong computer skills, Knowledge and hands on experience of Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrate good classroom management skills, communication skills, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with CRM / LMS systems is preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare teaching materials and outlines for courses
- Prepare, administer and mark tests and papers to evaluate students’ progress
- Advise students on program curricula and career decisions
- Teach students through lectures, discussions, audio-visual presentations and laboratory, shop and field studies
- Comply with all regulatory standards as set out by the Ministry of Colleges and Universities (MCU), and the Ontario Career College Act, 2005
